Walking In A Dream by Diannah Lynch

Late summer into early fall; rain falling gently, listening to the sounds of silence in the woods; hearing the raindrops on the umbrella ~ so peaceful and serene, it seems as if he's walking in a dream. A peaceful, restful, and wonderful dream.

The location of this National Park is the road from the Rock Castle Gorge and Rocky Knob Cabins just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, near the town of Meadows of Dan, VA.

From the beginning of my photography adventures I have continually prayed to see the beauty the way God wants me to see it. It's as if blinders have been removed from my eyes and I am seeing so many things for the first time. On those special moments when downloading photos and I have that "Ahhhhhhh" moment, or that photo that brings tears to my eyes, or a smile to my face, I feel humbled and grateful. It is so easy for me to get lost in the shot, sometimes taking dozens of photos of the same scene; the same flower, leaf, landscape, person ~ whatever image I may be shooting.
