Mabry Mill Gristmill reflected in the Mabry Mill Pond. Located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Milepost 176, near the towns of Meadows of Dan, and Floyd, VA. A local historical mill, Mabry Mill is one of the most photographed attractions along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

From the beginning of my photography adventures I have continually prayed to see the beauty the way God wants me to see it. It's as if blinders have been removed from my eyes and I am seeing so many things for the first time. On those special moments when downloading photos and I have that "Ahhhhhhh" moment, or that photo that brings tears to my eyes, or a smile to my face, I feel humbled and grateful. It is so easy for me to get lost in the shot, sometimes taking dozens of photos of the same scene; the same flower, leaf, landscape, person ~ whatever image I may be shooting.
