Snow Day ~ What Am I Doing Inside? Ahtna sees the snow and knows she's usually outside playing with children. Born in Alaska, she's used to the snow and loves being in it as much as possible. A great traveler, she has lived in Alaska, Missouri, and now resides in in the mountains of Virginia. We believe she misses the snow :)

From the beginning of my photography adventures I have continually prayed to see the beauty the way God wants me to see it. It's as if blinders have been removed from my eyes and I am seeing so many things for the first time. On those special moments when downloading photos and I have that "Ahhhhhhh" moment, or that photo that brings tears to my eyes, or a smile to my face, I feel humbled and grateful. It is so easy for me to get lost in the shot, sometimes taking dozens of photos of the same scene; the same flower, leaf, landscape, person ~ whatever image I may be shooting.
