On Frozen Pond by Diannah Lynch
Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia, frozen over. The pond and entire surrounding area is covered in snow and ice. Although the Blue Ridge Parkway is closed in this kind of weather, we were able to get to the mill from the service road.
Located near the town of Meadows of Dan, Virginia.

About Diannah Lynch
From the beginning of my photography adventures I have continually prayed to see the beauty the way God wants me to see it. It's as if blinders have been removed from my eyes and I am seeing so many things for the first time. On those special moments when downloading photos and I have that "Ahhhhhhh" moment, or that photo that brings tears to my eyes, or a smile to my face, I feel humbled and grateful. It is so easy for me to get lost in the shot, sometimes taking dozens of photos of the same scene; the same flower, leaf, landscape, person ~ whatever image I may be shooting. What a wonderful winter scene! Love the mill but the log fence, wooden walkway/road and bare snow covered trees add an additional element. This would be a beautiful framed print! l/f/t
