Tranquil Moment North Pole AK by Diannah Lynch
Cool breeze, beautiful sky, relaxing in a canoe being paddled by our daughter, as I inhale the scenery of a spot in North Pole, AK.
Little did we know, her husband was standing on the shore making a video of us in the canoe, and waiting for me to turn the canoe over as I was taking photos.
Being that the water wasn't much more than knee deep in places, turning over wouldn't have been too bad ~ except for the laughter from the shore :)

From the beginning of my photography adventures I have continually prayed to see the beauty the way God wants me to see it. It's as if blinders have been removed from my eyes and I am seeing so many things for the first time. On those special moments when downloading photos and I have that "Ahhhhhhh" moment, or that photo that brings tears to my eyes, or a smile to my face, I feel humbled and grateful. It is so easy for me to get lost in the shot, sometimes taking dozens of photos of the same scene; the same flower, leaf, landscape, person ~ whatever image I may be shooting.
