I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes by Diannah Lynch
When I saw this photo, and the way it appeared to be "looking up" I was immediately reminded of the scripture from Psalm 121.
Today is Day 2 for the blooming of the Sunflowers. These yellow-petaled daisy related bloomers bring us much joy, and joy to those who see them in passing.
The Sunflower Garden is flourishing this season. It's been three growing seasons since we've been able to grow these beauties, and we saw our food crop diminish because of the lack of the Sunflowers.
The bees and butterflies and their great pollination had been such a benefit in years past, that we believed the Sunflowers were such a draw to them, we had to try and get them growing again.
Other flowers attracted the bees and butterflies, to be sure, but nothing has ever drawn them as the Sunflowers do.

From the beginning of my photography adventures I have continually prayed to see the beauty the way God wants me to see it. It's as if blinders have been removed from my eyes and I am seeing so many things for the first time. On those special moments when downloading photos and I have that "Ahhhhhhh" moment, or that photo that brings tears to my eyes, or a smile to my face, I feel humbled and grateful.
