Sometimes the moments in life that leave us breathless ~ that completely overwhelm us, and we just lift up our arms to God in Heaven, close our eyes and totally feel His presence, is indescribable.
On our first trip to Alaska, the beauty of the place left me speechless, awestruck. The first view I saw of the mountains was so breathtaking I was unable to even take photos for some time. A very moving experience, and we hope to return again to the beautiful Alaska mountains.

From the beginning of my photography adventures I have continually prayed to see the beauty the way God wants me to see it. It's as if blinders have been removed from my eyes and I am seeing so many things for the first time. On those special moments when downloading photos and I have that "Ahhhhhhh" moment, or that photo that brings tears to my eyes, or a smile to my face, I feel humbled and grateful. It is so easy for me to get lost in the shot, sometimes taking dozens of photos of the same scene; the same flower, leaf, landscape, person ~ whatever image I may be shooting.
