Oh how I'd love to move into one again, especially in the autumn. Went there, did that, years ago and loved every moments of that ten months there. Thanks.

Artist's Description

Whorley Homeplace At Rocky Knob Cabins Blue Ridge Parkway by Diannah Lynch

A special place from another time. The historic homeplace of Thomas and Jathina Rose Whorley, located at the Civilian Conservation Corp., the CCC, Rocky Knob Cabins, near the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 174, then one mile off the Parkway.

At this time the cabins are closed. Hopefully, they will open again someday. Located between the towns of Meadows of Dan and Floyd, VA.
