For as long as I can remember; about this time of year, when we start thinking spring is almost here, we get the big one. That last big snow and/or ice storm, and although we know to expect it, it always comes as a big surprise.
That last blast of a winter storm is beautiful if you don't have to be out in it ~ and the power stays on :)

Stunning work! That tree is a perfect example of the beauty of winter, snow and ice....The abandoned wagon, so forlorn and waiting for spring, tugs at my heart. What a gifted photographer you are!

Thank you, Karen, very much. That tree is what started out as a "snowball bush" and has become one of my favorite winter photo subjects. It is about 75 years old. Thank you :)
